It's only been an addictional week, but I like what I see so I'm going to stop.

Silk Scarf ...do over

The first attempt ... the scaf was dark and ugly. It has lighten up a great deal. I really like the pink.

Spart, made for us by Margie Bovee...

... the director of the "Two Twelve Art Center"
Friday morning... after a lovely breakfast at Roxanne Chen's, prepared by our Two Twelve chef Pat Collin. We traveled to Taylor and Charlene's Studio and was guided though the process of dying silk scarf's by Michelle Monteur. Followed by another meal, made by Pat Collins. The food was delicious, the day filled with fun projects and friends.

Our trip to Joann's

Paul went with me to Joann's this afternoon, to help pick out fabric for my painting "Four Faces". I always buy more fabric then intended when he goes along.
It's fun to watch him paint with fabric.

Four Faces ... Making progress

I've been a bit torned between, what I should be doing and what I'd rather be doing.
There's laundry, lots of office work, bus run maps ( starting back to work very soon). And then there's embroidery, painting, finishing purses, reading ... the rather be doing list.
Working on four faces, has been my play break... some machine and hand embroidery... I think it's going to be a pillow.

Culture Cloth

Making Culture Cloth took awhile to figure out. I wanted a tribule looking piece.

School of Fish

I've been working on my second windsock. Wanted to get a picture before I sew up the side seam.
I wonder if the windsocks will work as I think it might. Each little fish is a windsock attached to a larger one.

Memorial Day Purse

The inspiration for this purse was the handle. Actually a belt. I thought, I could make a purse to go with that handle. I think it needs some gold stars or military buttons.
