Little Fiddle


A new challange. The Saline Fiddlers, distribute their broken instruments to local artists. To do something artisy with them, so they can be auctioned, to raise money for the fiddlers group. Last year, we're told they raised enough money to travel to Germany.

Close up of purse in progress...


... the trim around the edges of the leaf's is copper, a yarn I bought in Lansing while on a field trip with my friends from the Two Twelve Art Center.

Last posted 1-17-10. I'm calling this one Fall Leaf's and I'm having a wonderful time embroidering with some of my specialty yarns.

African Purse...


...finally finished. I needed to stabalize the top opening to support the weighted closer.
Also, it took awhile to find a weight I liked. The beads repeat the shape of the purse plus match the color used in the design. Even tho it doesn't match the picture here.
